Refer a Friend to Yoga – Give a Class for Free
October 1, 2019Working with Fear
March 10, 2020Parking regulations at Suter Brook are changing. Starting Friday November 15th, all vehicles are required to be registered when you park.
If you drive and park at Suter Brook, you will have two options:
Option 1: Get the first 90 minutes free, but you must register your vehicle at a kiosk. There will be a kiosk at the elevator vestibule that leads up to the studio. Free parking is limited to once every 24 hour period. You can pay to extend your park at the kiosk or from your phone.
Option 2: Park on your phone using the hangTag app. It takes is a quick few minutes to set up. With the app, you will pay $1 + tax for your first two hours of parking, and $1 + tax / hour for additional hours. Why doesn’t the app offer free parking? We’ve been informed that it is beyond the scope of the app’s capabilities at this time, but that Impark is working on an update for the future.
Our Recommendation
If you plan to combine your yoga class with grocery shopping, going for coffee, etc, we highly recommend you use the hangTag app so you can avoid any hassles at the kiosk, be notified when your parking will expire, and extend it if desired. If you plan to stay for more than 90 minutes, the rate for parking is the same whether you parked with the kiosk or on your phone*.
We thank you for your ongoing support of Kushala Yoga, and understand that it will take some time to adjust to the new parking procedures. If you plan to use the kiosk, leave home a couple minutes early. If you need any support setting up the app on your phone, we are happy to help you in the studio.
Please contact us if you have any questions at inquiry@kushalayoga.com.
Respectfully yours,
Kushala Yoga
*When parking at the kiosk, though the first 90 minutes is free, the next 30 minutes is $1. If you use the app, $1 gets you 2 hours of parking instantly.
