Chakras are centers for the reception, assimilation, and transmission of life energy (prana) located at nerve ganglia in the body. In this workshop you will experience a combination of yoga postures, breathing excerises, mudras and kriyas to awaken and balance your physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual energies.

Heartful Vinyasa Namaskar
You will be guided through a mindful flow of asanas lead by your breath, to create heat in the body and focus the mind. This practice not only heals, opens, balances and strengthens every part of you, but also reveals in you a steadiness of thought and action beyond the poses that can truly transform your life.

Hip Openers and Back Bends
Past experiences not only imprint the mind at a subconscious level, but create patterns of tension in the body. These patterns are especially pronounced in the hips, shoulders and chest. By opening the hips and exploring back bending postures, you will begin to free yourself from detrimental patterns, and open to the joy of the present.

Credits
For 200 hour Yoga Alliance certified teachers the credits of the course can be applied towards the 500 hour certification (application pending), and is eligible for 7 hours CEU with Yoga Alliance.
