May 12, 2015Join Alissa for a 2 hour journey through your senses to a deep state of relaxation. The practice of Yoga Nidra invites us into a sleep-like state where we can release tension, stress and busyness. When practiced regularly, Yoga Nidra can improve sleep patterns and concentration, regulate blood pressure and digestion, calm the nervous system and connect you to your own source of healing.
Some gentle movement will be explored to prepare for deep relaxation and you will create a Sankalpa (Resolve) as a way to support realizing full potential. You will also receive a recording of one practice which will be sent to you after the workshop, so you can practice again at home. You will:
release tension and relieve stress
relax and focus the mind
promote self-care and connection
set an intention
